Softball Recap: McQueen Takes a Loss

McQueen came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 12-3 to the Pleasant Valley Vikings.

Ashlyn Guber made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and fired off two home runs and three RBI while going 2-for-3.

McQueen's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Pleasant Valley, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-5-1.

Coming up, McQueen will face off against Las Plumas at 12:35 p.m. on Monday. The Thunderbirds will roll in looking for their 19th straight victory, something the Lancers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pleasant Valley, they will challenge Antelope at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
