For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Gorham and Colebrook Academy meet (two straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Wednesday. The Huskies had just enough and edged out the Mohawks 7-6. This was a revenge game for the Huskies: when they faced off against the Mohawks on May 8th, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

Gorham has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.9 runs over those games. As for Colebrook Academy, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-5.

Colebrook Academy has already played their next game (against Lin-Wood), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Gorham will be paying especially close attention to the Mohawks' contest: after the Mohawks face off against the Lumberjacks, they'll take on Gorham again at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
