Baseball Recap: Rosamond Takes a Loss

Boron hit Rosamond with a seven-run seventh inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Roadrunners came up short against the Bobcats, falling 11-2. The Roadrunners have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rosamond saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Shawn Webb, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI. Jordan Rowens also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Rosamond's defeat dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Boron, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Rosamond didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 14-2 loss against Kern Valley on the 9th. As for Boron, they have also already played their next contest, a 17-6 victory against Frazier Mountain on the 9th.
