Softball Recap: Jefferson RISE Charter Comes Up Short

Jefferson RISE Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 35-26 to the Livingston Collegiate Academy Wolves. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Jefferson RISE Charter of the 27-7 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Jefferson RISE Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Livingston Collegiate Academy, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Looking ahead, Jefferson RISE Charter will face off against Thomas Jefferson at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. This will be Jefferson RISE Charter's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Livingston Collegiate Academy, they will square off against De La Salle at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Livingston Collegiate Academy has given up an average of 13.4 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
