Volleyball Game Preview: Palmyra Panthers vs. Crete Cardinals

The Palmyra Panthers will take on the Crete Cardinals on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Thursday, Palmyra came up short against Freeman and fell 2-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Falcons: they've now lost four in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Crete also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Platteview by a score of 2-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-7.

Palmyra's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Crete, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-15.

Palmyra took their victory against Crete when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Cardinals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
