Volleyball Game Preview: Columbia Bruins vs. Kalama Chinooks + How To Watch

The Columbia Bruins will venture away from home to challenge the Kalama Chinooks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

While Columbia's win against King's Way Christian wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bruins had just enough and edged out the Knights 3-2 on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bruins.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Kalama, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Fort Vancouver with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Chinooks in their matchups with the Trappers: they've now won four in a row.

One reason for the win was Kalama's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-10, 25-7.

Kalama's win came from a few key players Columbia will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Ady Davenport, who had 13 digs and one assist. She has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last seven times she's played.

Kalama was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in six consecutive matchups.

Columbia now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Kalama, their record now sits at 14-4.
