Baseball Recap: Western Hills Wolverines vs. Frankfort Panthers
Western Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Frankfort Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Western Hills of the 11-4 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.
Chris Clark made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Western Hills' loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Frankfort, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-4.
Western Hills will head out on the road to take on Fleming County at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Frankfort, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Fairdale at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
