Basketball Recap: Hermitage Takes a Loss

Hermitage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost to the Taylor Tigers on the road by a 68-50 margin. The Hermits were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2023.

Hermitage's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Taylor, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-4.

Hermitage will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Emerson at 5:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. After both having extra time off, Taylor and Lafayette County will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
