Soccer Recap: Bethune-Bowman Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Palmetto Scholars Academy, Bethune-Bowman was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Denmark-Olar Vikings 6-2. Considering Bethune-Bowman's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Their offense was hitting Denmark-Olar from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Kevin Morales led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Bethune-Bowman's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Denmark-Olar, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Bethune-Bowman will take on Baptist Hill at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Denmark-Olar, they will challenge Ridgeland at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
