Football Recap: Noah Sekulski and Jacob Reynolds Pace Nelson County Defense

The Nelson County Cardinals earned a 36-28 victory over the DeSales Colts on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cardinals.

Nelson County didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Noah Sekulski and Jacob Reynolds.

DeSales' defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Cameron Bischoff, who threw for 288 yards and three TDs while picking up 10.7 yards per attempt, and Robbie Brauner, who picked up 137 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Nelson County has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record. As for DeSales, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Nelson County will take on Thomas Nelson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for DeSales, they will face off against Holy Cross at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
