Football Recap: Little River Academy Takes a Loss

If Little River Academy was feeling good fresh off their 55-21 takedown of Rockdale last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bumblebees were outmatched by the Franklin Lions and fell 64-14. The loss continues a trend for the Bumblebees in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost seven in a row.

Although Little River Academy took the loss, they still got scores from Vincent Williams and Manny Martinez.

Little River Academy now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Franklin, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Looking ahead, Little River Academy will square off against Troy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. That contest will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Brian Grissom and Jayden Lucky. As for Franklin, they will face off against McGregor at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.
