Scurry-Rosser put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They strolled past the West Trojans with points to spare, taking the game 53-37. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 148th, while the Trojans are ranked 673rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

West lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Sawyer Tacker, who posted nine points and six boards. Tacker is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for four straight games. Ayden Poteet was another key player, putting up six points and seven rebounds.

Scurry-Rosser's victory bumped their record up to 16-0. As for West, they moved to 11-6 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Scurry-Rosser didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 57-29 win against Whitney on the 28th. As for West, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 61-44 loss against Keene on the 28th.
