Webber extends home winning streak to ten

Recap: Webber Trojans vs. Farina South Central Cougars

The Webber Trojans came tearing into Saturday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against Farina South Central by a score of 53-46. Given Webber's advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 241st, while Farina South Central is ranked 509th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Nikkos Ulm was his usual excellent self, scoring 29 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan French, who scored 12 points.

Webber's victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 23-3. As for Farina South Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-14 record this season.

Webber will head out on the road to square off against Zeigler-Royalton at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Zeigler-Royalton is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 54.6 points per game this season. As for Farina South Central, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Mulberry Grove at 6:00 p.m.
