Soccer Recap: Casa Roble Finds Home Pitch Redemption Against El Camino

There's no place like home for Casa Roble, who bounced back after a loss on the road back in December of 2024. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the El Camino Eagles on Monday, sneaking past 2-1. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but the Rams were the better team in the second half.

Payton Johnston and Mauricio Rosas scored both of Casa Roble's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

With the win, Casa Roble broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-4. As for El Camino, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 1-6-2 record this season.

Casa Roble wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Sutter on the 8th. El Camino has also already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Natomas on the 8th.
