Baseball Game Preview: Harlandale Indians vs. South San Antonio Bobcats

The Harlandale Indians will challenge the South San Antonio Bobcats at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Harlandale has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 18.

On Thursday, Harlandale came up short against Southside and fell 7-2.

Nathan Ramos made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

Meanwhile, South San Antonio fell victim to MacArthur and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They fell just short of the Brahmas by a score of 1-0. The loss continues a trend for the Bobcats in their meetings with the Brahmas: they've now lost four in a row.

MacArthur's batters probably weren't too happy with Matthew Reyna, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 14 Ks (he gave up a single walk). Reyna has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

South San Antonio's defeat dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Harlandale, their loss dropped their record down to 3-19.
