Volleyball Recap: Tri-Central Trojans vs. Cowan Blackhawks

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Tri-Central can now relate to. They came up short against the Cowan Blackhawks on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2020.

Tri-Central took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-17, 25-18.

Delaney Brinson was the offensive standout of the contest as she had six digs and four aces.

Tri-Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-28. As for Cowan, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-16.
