Basketball Recap: Reedsport Comes Up Short

Reedsport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 53-25 loss at the hands of the Waldport Irish. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Reedsport of the 42-25 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Reedsport's record is now 1-11. As for Waldport, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 6-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Reedsport will face off against Oakland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Waldport, they will square off against Monroe at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Monroe will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Waldport surely won't give up without a fight.
