Volleyball Recap: Huntsville Comes Up Short

Huntsville lost against Calallen on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Hornets fell 2-0 to the Wildcats. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-9.

Amelia Hernandez was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 13 digs and one assist.

Huntsville's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Calallen, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Coming up, Huntsville will be playing at home against Leon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Hornets surely won't give up without a fight. As for Calallen, they have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Harker Heights on the 16th.
