After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Columbia, Providence was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Heathwood Hall Episcopal Highlanders a 2-0 shutout. This was a revenge game for Providence: when they faced off against Heathwood Hall Episcopal back in March, they had to take a 4-2 defeat.

Providence is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for Heathwood Hall Episcopal, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Providence will welcome Greer Middle College at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Heathwood Hall Episcopal, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Wilson Hall at 7:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
