Soccer Preview: Ross vs. River Valley
The Ross Little Giants will square off against the River Valley Vikings at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Ross finally turned things around against Clay on Tuesday. Neither they nor the Eagles could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked the Little Giants' first draw of the season.
Meanwhile, River Valley waltzed into their game on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Barons onto the board and left with a 2-0 victory. The Vikings' winning goal came courtesy of Christian Knight.
Ross' draw gives them a new season record of 2-4-1. As for River Valley, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
