Football Game Preview: Harrison Goblins vs. Vilonia Eagles

The Harrison Goblins will head out to face off against the Vilonia Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Harrison had taken Morrilton down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Friday. The Goblins took a 38-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Devil Dogs.

Harrison might have lost, but man, Isaiah Hale was a machine: he rushed for 88 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 12 carries.

Meanwhile, Vilonia took a blow against Farmington on Friday, falling 45-13. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Harrison will have to contain Coleson Ashcraft as he made an impact in Vilonia's last game. He rushed for 90 yards and one score on only seven carries.

Vilonia now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Harrison, they now also have a losing record of 3-4.

Harrison couldn't quite finish off Vilonia in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 and fell 24-21. Can the Goblins avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
