Edison has gone 10-0 against McNair recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Edison Vikings will host the McNair Eagles at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Edison has three straight wins, McNair has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

If Edison beats McNair with three goals on Wednesday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. Edison won by a goal and slipped past Weston Ranch 3-2.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for McNair's offense. They came up short against Chavez on Friday, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1079th, while the Titans are ranked 538th).

Edison's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-9-4. As for McNair, their loss dropped their record down to 3-11.

Everything went Edison's way against McNair when the teams last played back in January, as Edison made off with a 6-2 win. Will Edison repeat their success, or does McNair have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
