Basketball Recap: Jefferson Find Success

Jefferson hadn't done well against Boylan Catholic recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Jefferson J-Hawks walked away with a 61-52 victory over the Boylan Catholic Titans. The J-Hawks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Titans, too.

The win made it two in a row for Jefferson and bumps their season record up to 4-7. As for Boylan Catholic, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-8.

Jefferson will take on UIC College Prep in a tournament on Thursday. As for Boylan Catholic, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 60-47 loss against Grayslake Central on the 21st.
