Baseball Recap: Northern Nash Comes Up Short

Northern Nash suffered their biggest defeat since March 3rd on Friday. They lost 13-2 to the D.H. Conley Vikings. The loss continues a trend for the Knights in their meetings with the Vikings: they've now lost four in a row.

Northern Nash saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brady Jenkins, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Northern Nash now has a losing record of 7-8. As for D.H. Conley, they pushed their record up to 17-1 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road.

Coming up, Northern Nash will be taking part in a tournament against J.H. Rose at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for D.H. Conley, they will host Terry Sanford at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Vikings 2, the Bulldogs 2.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.
