Palestine-Wheatley got themselves on the board against Hazen on Thursday, but Hazen never followed suit. They walked away with a 3-0 win over the Hornets. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Not much got past BRODY PARKER, who gave up just a hit and racked up 18 Ks to keep Hazen off the board.

At the plate, BARRETT MEDFORD was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of MADDOX HOGGATT, who earned one run and two stolen bases.

Palestine-Wheatley's record is now 13-4. As for Hazen, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Palestine-Wheatley will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Hornets: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
