Basketball Recap: Davis Aerospace Tech Comes Up Short

It was a good run, but Davis Aerospace Tech unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Tuesday. They were beaten by the Central Trail Blazers 92-50. While losing is never fun, the Aviators can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 438th, while the Trail Blazers are ranked 120th).

When it comes to explaining why Davis Aerospace Tech lost, don't look at Myron Dean. Despite the final result, he posted 22 points. Dean continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Cord'E Theus, who put up nine points.

Davis Aerospace Tech's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-6. As for Central, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 18-11.

Davis Aerospace Tech didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 54-27 victory against Michigan School for the Deaf on the 6th. Central has also already played their next matchup, a 61-59 win against Okemos on the 4th.
