Mount Hope Christian Academy had already won 24 in a row dating back to last season and they went ahead and made it 25 on Monday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Woodrow Wilson Flying Eagles.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Mount Hope Christian Academy got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 24-26, 15-6.

MADY SOLE paced Mount Hope Christian Academy's offense, picking up 15 kills. SOLE got some help from JOLEY MANKIN and her 27 assists. MCKENNA JONES controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Mount Hope Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Woodrow Wilson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2-3.

Coincidentally, Mount Hope Christian Academy and Woodrow Wilson will both be playing James Monroe the next time they take the court. The Warriors will host the Mavericks at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Flying Eagles will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
