Basketball Recap: Roncalli Takes a Loss

Roncalli was the 63-61 winner over Warner when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Roncalli Cavaliers were just a bucket shy of victory on Thursday and fell 47-46 to the Warner Monarchs. The Cavaliers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Roncalli now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Warner, their win ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Roncalli will be home for the holidays to greet Dell Rapids at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Warner will take on Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] in a holiday battle at at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
