Basketball Recap: Sulphur Takes a Loss

Sulphur was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Washington Warriors and fell 67-21. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 394th, while the Warriors are ranked ninth).

Sulphur's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Washington, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-1.

Sulphur wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 45-24 loss against Casady on the 24th. Washington has also already played their next contest, a 60-24 win against North Rock Creek on the 24th.
