Baseball Recap: Spring Valley Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Spring Valley's offense. They lost 12-0 to the Mondovi Buffaloes on Tuesday. The Cardinals have struggled against the Buffaloes recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Spring Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Mondovi, they pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Spring Valley will take on Chetek-Weyerhaeuser at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games the Bulldogs have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Mondovi, they will face off against Clear Lake at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
