Basketball Game Preview: Bush Blazers vs. King's Knights

Bush hasn't had much luck against King recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Bush Blazers will venture away from home to take on the King's Knights at 7:15 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Bush was handed a 26-point defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Northwest, sneaking past 71-69. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Blazers have posted since December 29, 2023.

Meanwhile, King's had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.4 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They blew past the Tigers 72-42. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 23 points or more this season.

King's pushed their record up to 16-4 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.2 points over those games. As for Bush, their victory bumped their record up to 7-9.

Bush might still be hurting after the 58-32 loss they got from King's in their previous matchup last Friday. Can Bush avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
