Basketball Recap: Hibriten Takes a Loss

Hibriten was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a blow against the Freedom Patriots, falling 82-44. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 89-50 back in January.

Hibriten's defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Freedom, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-4.

Hibriten will welcome Ashe County at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hibriten is facing Ashe County at the right time seeing as Ashe County is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Freedom, they will challenge South Caldwell at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Caldwell knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Freedom likes a good challenge.
