Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask San Isidro). They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat the Benavides Eagles 83-22. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Tigers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 4-9. As for Benavides, they dropped their record down to 2-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. San Isidro will face off against Non Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Benavides, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on McMullen County at 6:30 p.m. on January 17, 2025.
