Soccer Recap: Soldotna Takes a Loss

Soldotna was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 5-1 to the Wasilla Warriors. That's two games in a row now that Soldotna have lost by exactly four goals.

Soldotna's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Wasilla, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1-1.

Coming up, Soldotna will head out on the road to face off against Grace Christian at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Soldotna will be up against Grace Christian's rather soft defense (which has allowed four goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Wasilla, they will challenge Kenai Central at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Kenai Central will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Wasilla surely won't give up without a fight.
