Volleyball Recap: Manchester Takes a Loss

Manchester lost against Fayetteville-Perry back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Greyhounds came up short against the Rockets, falling 3-0. The Greyhounds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Hayden Rideout paced Manchester's offense, picking up five kills. Rideout got some help from Abby Lucas and her five assists. Kenidee Turner controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Manchester's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Fayetteville-Perry, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

Manchester will challenge Glenwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fayetteville-Perry, they have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against East Clinton on the 13th.
