Basketball Recap: Timpson Takes a Loss

After flying high against West Sabine on Tuesday, Timpson came back down to earth. The Bears took a blow against the Jefferson Bulldogs on Thursday, falling 91-38. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1059th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 169th).

Timpson's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Jefferson, their victory bumped their record up to 9-1.

Coming up, Timpson will head out on the road to face off against Chireno at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jefferson, they will be home for the holidays to greet New Boston at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
