Baseball Recap: Cosby Comes Up Short

Cosby lost against University School back in May of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles lost 11-1 to the Buccaneers. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cosby saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was David Baker, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Cosby's defeat dropped their record down to 4-20-1. As for University School, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season.

Cosby didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 18-1 loss against Washburn on the 10th. As for University School, they have also already played their next match, an 8-1 win against North Greene on the 10th.
