Basketball Recap: Saint Thomas More Academy Starts off Right with Win over Granger Christian

Saint Thomas More Academy took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Monday. They breezed past the Granger Christian Knights to the tune of 68-21. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Griffins just coasted through the last quarter.

Noah Kloska was nothing short of spectacular: he shot 56% from the field to rack up 24 points along with six boards and five steals. Luke Kloska was another key player, going 5-for-11 on his way to 13 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals.

Granger Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Saint Thomas More Academy and Granger Christian will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Griffins see the court they'll take on Benton HomeSchool at 8:00 p.m. on December 4. As for Granger Christian, their break will end when they face River City J at 3:00 p.m. on January 3, 2026.
