Baseball Recap: Bethlehem Catholic Find Success

Bethlehem Catholic was not the first on the board on Thursday, but they got there more often. They walked away with an 11-6 victory over the William Allen Canaries. The win continues a trend for the Hawks in their matchups with the Canaries: they've now won four in a row.

Tyler Santay looked comfortable as he tossed 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

At the plate, Zach McCoy was incredible, scoring three runs while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Caden Deegan, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-4.

The victory got Bethlehem Catholic back to even at 1-1. As for William Allen, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Bethlehem Catholic will head out on the road to face off against Wyoming Seminary College Prep at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for William Allen, they will be playing at home against Brandywine Heights Area at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
