Basketball Recap: Cass City Takes a Loss

After flying high against Deckerville last Friday, Cass City came back down to earth. The Cass City Red Hawks took a 56-37 bruising from the Laker Lakers on Wednesday. The Red Hawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lakers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February.

Cass City now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Laker, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Cass City has already played their next matchup, a 51-36 loss against Kingston on the 20th. As for Laker, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Caro at 7:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025. Laker is facing Caro at the right time seeing as Caro is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
