Basketball Recap: Bethlehem Academy Comes Up Short

Bethlehem Academy lost against Blooming Prairie back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bethlehem Academy Cardinals took a blow against the Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms, falling 66-25. The Cardinals just can't catch a break and have now endured seven defeats in a row.

Bethlehem Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Blooming Prairie, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Cardinals duke it out with the Tigers at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Bethlehem Academy is facing Medford at the right time seeing as Medford is stuck on a 13-game losing streak. As for Blooming Prairie, they will head out to challenge New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Blooming Prairie will also cruise into their next matchup with the timing on their side: New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva will have lost three straight heading into Monday's game.
