Basketball Recap: Indianapolis Northwest W Triumphs

Indianapolis Northwest W picked up another tournament win on Friday. They escaped with a win against the Houston HomeSchool Raiders by the margin of a single free throw, 76-75.

Leading Indianapolis Northwest W to victory were Finn Sempsrott and Josh Bowers. Sempsrott went 6-for-9 from beyond the arc en route to 28 points in addition to five assists and five steals, while Bowers dropped a double-double with 19 points and 16 rebounds. Those 28 points gave Sempsrott a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Taylor Smith, who posted 12 points.

Indianapolis Northwest W is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-9 record this season. Houston HomeSchool's loss dropped their record down to 25-6.
