Fans were treated to a battle of the Lions on Monday. Unity Christian walked away with a 3-1 victory over Praise Academy. Unity Christian has seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Praise Academy, too.

Unity Christian was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 20-25, 25-10, 25-14.

Claira Kight paced Unity Christian's offense, picking up ten kills. Kight got some help from Ella Claire Goodwin and her 28 assists. Kight was also solid from the service line: she led the team with 11 aces.

Unity Christian's win bumped their record up to 7-12. As for Praise Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Unity Christian will challenge Pepperell at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Praise Academy, they will be taking part in a tournament against Paulding County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
