Recap: Sullivan Central vs. Unicoi County
The Sullivan Central Cougars were successful in their previous meeting against the Unicoi County Blue Devils, and they didn't afford Unicoi County any payback this time around. The Cougars escaped with a win against Unicoi County by the margin of a single free throw, 35-34. Despite the victory, that's the fewest points Sullivan Central has scored all year.
The win was the 12th in a row for Sullivan Central and raised their record to 27-1. Unicoi County's overall record fell to 8-11.
Sullivan Central will take on Dobyns-Bennett on Friday. The Cougars won't have the home-court advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings. The Blue Devils will take on Cloudland on Friday at home. Cloudland is coming in off of a close defeat (50-48 to Johnson County).
