Volleyball Game Preview: Lovett Lions vs. Mount Paran Christian Eagles

The Lovett Lions will challenge the Mount Paran Christian Eagles on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Lovett comes in on five and Mount Paran Christian on six.

Lovett is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They came out on top against St. Vincent's by a score of 3-1.

Lovett's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kate Kennedy, who had 24 assists and seven digs. Those 24 assists gave Kennedy a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ali Wainwright, who had 29 assists and eight digs.

Meanwhile, Mount Paran Christian made easy work of Providence Christian Academy on Wednesday and carried off a 3-0 win.

While Mount Paran Christian won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-16, 25-18.

Lovett's record is now 40-3. As for Mount Paran Christian, their record now sits at 38-11.
