Volleyball Recap: Trinity Valley Trojans vs. Hockaday Daisies
If Trinity Valley was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Episcopal School of Dallas two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Trojans came up short against the Hockaday Daisies on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.
Trinity Valley was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-23, 25-19.
Leading Hockaday to victory were Avery Park and Emily Boomstra. Park had eight digs and six aces, while Boomstra had nine digs and four aces. Those six aces gave Park a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Siena Ebert, who had 14 digs and two assists.
