It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Lejeune had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Falls Lake Firebirds 1-0. Winning may never get old, but Lejeune sure are getting used to it with their 11th in a row.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Scarlett McLean, who's now up to 55 this season.

Lejeune's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-0-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those eight contests. As for Falls Lake, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season.

Lejeune will square off against Hobbton on Monday. Hobbton will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Lejeune surely won't give up without a fight. Falls Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
