Basketball Game Preview: Memphis Central Warriors vs. White Station Spartans

The Memphis Central Warriors are taking a road trip to square off against the White Station Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Memphis Central is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 50-20, which was the final score in Memphis Central's tilt against Whitehaven on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led White Station over Kingsbury in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that White Station blew Kingsbury out of the water with a 67-12 final score. That 55 point margin sets a new team best for the Spartans this season.

The match pitted two dominant guards against one another in Amare Boothe and Maleah Ward. Boothe had a solid game and posted seven points. Meanwhile, Ward did her best for the losing side, putting up eight points.

The win made it two in a row for White Station and bumps their season record up to 10-5. As for Memphis Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.
