Softball Game Preview: Kewaunee Storm vs. Peshtigo Bulldogs

The Kewaunee Storm will face off against the Peshtigo Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kewaunee has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with three straight losses, while Peshtigo will come in with six straight victories.

Kewaunee came up short against Seymour on Saturday, falling 14-1.

Meanwhile, while Peshtigo put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Menominee. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 13-0 margin over the Maroons. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by six runs or more this season.

Peshtigo pushed their record up to 11-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Kewaunee, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

Kewaunee came out on top in a nail-biter against Peshtigo in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. Will the Storm repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
