Volleyball Recap: East Union Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Patterson last Thursday, East Union came back down to earth. The Lancers came up short against the Manteca Buffaloes on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lancers of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-19, 25-15.

MACIE HALL-ANDERSON paced East Union's offense, picking up six kills. HALL-ANDERSON got some help from LILY GROVE and her nine assists. GROVE also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with KENNEDY MCLEOD, each putting up two.

East Union's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Manteca, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-5 record this season.

East Union wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Sierra on the 25th. As for Manteca, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Oakdale on the 25th.
